APSC is hosting a level I USPSA Range Officer seminar at our home range, Austin Rifle Club, the weekend of 3/31-4/1. The class is great for anyone who would like to learn more about USPSA rules to help their own shooting, as well as those who would like to get more involved in stage design and working matches from the local level up to nationals.
Expect a daylong classroom session on Saturday and a shorter range exercise on Sunday, which should wrap up before noon. Everyone will get an opportunity to run shooters through a practice stage, so if you would like to bring your gear and shoot it, you're welcome too, but it's not required.
Currently we're requiring online payment of the course fee to register, but if that's not feasible and you'd rather pay by cash or check, send us an email at [email protected] The $60 course fee covers USPSA's share for class materials and we'll bring breakfast, lunch, and a lot of coffee out to ARC to make it a little easier on everyone.
Schedule: 3/31 - 8AM-5PM, 4/1 - 9AM-12PM
Instructor: Ray Hirst, longtime NROI instructor and frequent national championship match director.
Location: Austin Rifle Club; 16312 Littig RD; Manor, TX 78653
The Saturday class will be in the education building, up the hill from the range bays. Just enter the range at the main gate, turn left and follow the road up the hill. The range portion will be held on Sunday at the range G bay just to the left of the main gate.
